Job Description

Executive Assistant/Development Coordinator


7 Lakes Alliance, a non-profit organization in Belgrade, Maine seeks an energetic, professional full-time Executive Assistant to provide overall support to the President and Chief Executive Officer, especially in coordinating and supporting development activities. 7 Lakes Alliance’s mission is to conserve the lands and waters of the Belgrade Lakes Region.   


Job Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate executive communications with staff, partners and the public

  • Assist with scheduling and meetings

  • Prepare and manage documents

  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries

  • Organize and manage events

  • Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents

  • Maintain strict level of confidentiality and professionalism.



  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Executive or Development Assistant 

  • Demonstrated success working closely with senior management

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office;

  • Database management including development databases highly preferred

  • Able to work independently and in collaborative team settings

  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing

  • Team player able to foster collaboration among staff and partners

  • Well-organized, flexible with the ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines

  • Project management and problem-solving skills
